We finally did it! We climbed England’s highest mountain today! So, you may have seen in our previous videos that we failed to climb Scafell Pike because the rain was too heavy. Today we successfully reached the summit of Scafell Pike via The Corridor Route. Scafell Pike is a mountain in The Lake District in Cumbria, and the highest mountain in England.

We set off bright and early in the morning from our Campsite at Seatoller Farm in the Borrowdale Valley in The Lake District. We walk from Seatoller Farm to Seathwaite Farm where we begin the climb. The first sight along the way is a Grade I listed curved footbridge called Stockley Bridge.

The views are amazing as we make our way to Styhead Tarn and onwards to begin the main ascent of Scafell Pike via The Corridor Route. The Corridor has beautiful views out towards Wasdale and back to Styhead Tarn and Derwentwater.

It's known as the most scenic route up Scafell Pike.

After nervously scrambling up the scree and reaching the summit of Scafell Pike, we begin our descent. We walk between Broad Crag and Ill Crag towards Great End. After passing Great End we followed Grains Gill back to Stockley Bridge, onto Seathwaite Farm, and finally back to our little campsite at Seatoller Farm.

It was such an epic adventure and we are so happy we got to climb the HIGHEST MOUNTAIN in England! Walking in The Lake District provides so many options for exploring amazing sights and admiring stunning views. We hope you enjoy coming along as we finally make it to the top of Scafell Pike!
