How to catch more Summer Crappie/ Change Hook size to catch more crappie/ Down size hooks in summer

I have been getting ready for the coming deer season and for some coastal fishing trips and another fishing trip with CAROLINA ALL OUT next week so stay tuned for some great content coming up .
I had a good day fishing today . Fish were very active and feeding . I started out catching some white bass and then changed to crappie fishing .I moved around the lake and found several brush piles and all were holding fish but some brush only produced small fish . I had some issues with my camera and lost a lot of footage of some really nice crappie that I caught during the day. It was a good day to fish for most of the day . I caught more fish on Minnows than I did on the jig .
