The Gotham Chapter of the Brandeis National Committee hosted a discussion on climate change with Dr. Robert Socolow, professor emeritus at Princeton University. He has worked on many aspects of climate change, especially on potential solutions and their complications. He defines this problem for humanity as “fitting on the Earth.”

Dr. Socolow earned his PhD from Harvard University in theoretical physics in 1964 and changed fields when he joined the Princeton University faculty in 1971 with the assignment of inventing interdisciplinary environmental research.
